Kendall College is a professional and reputable college located in Chicago. It offers a number of degree programs including Culinary Art bachelors program. With the experience along with learning Kendall College successfully prepares students that can launch a professional career in culinary arts in the future. The degree programs offered are BA in Culinary Arts, AAS Culinary Arts, accelerated AAS Culinary Arts, AAS Baking and Pastry and certificates to launch a career.

Applying for admission is fast and easy. You can even apply online. For the year 2008 and 2009 session the fee per quarter for culinary arts is $7150 and per credit hour is $600. The standard fee are Application fee of $50, Facility fee of $200 per quarter, Parking fee of $60 per quarter and student activity fee of $25 per quarter. Late fee is charged $50. Other additional fee can also be charged such as residential hall fee, graduation fee and many more.

Four sessions are offered at Kendall College: Summer 2008. Winter 2008, Fall 2009 and Spring 2009. The payment for the four sessions will start from June 20 2008, September 12 2008, December 12 2008 and March 20 2009 respectively.

Smurfit Stone Building is a skyscraper located in downtown Chicago. The building rises to the height of 582 feet with the floor count of 41 floors. The building is located on the famous 150 North Michigan Avenue. The building thus has been given a new name as 150 North Michigan Avenue. Before this name the building had the honour of two different names which were the Stone Building and the Associates Centre. But over a period of time names have been changed by one reason or the other and now it is officially known as the 150 North Michigan Avenue.

The ground was broke for this skyscraper in the year 1983 and the building was officially opened in the year 1984.The building is very famous because of its peculiar roof. The slanting roof really is the treat to watch and at such a height it’s visible from quite a distance. Due to its different shape it resembles a diamond and thus has been given the name of Diamond building as well.

The building is really considered a piece of technology as it had an ambiance of a technology all the way. The building gave an air of sophistication and had many security controls all over the area.

There are many myths which are associated with the design of this building few say that it was built to resemble a diamond while there are few who are of the idea that this building is built to resemble a vagina. The myths still are there but one thing is for sure that it’s a treat to watch this piece of art which nobody can deny.

Began operating on August 22,1929 Chicago’s Music Box Theatre has since been the venue for both independent and foreign films providing entertainment to its visitors. Today, it is the largest full time operating theatre in the city.

Music box theatre can be accessed via car, train or bus. Limited parking is available on metered neighboring street while free parking is available north of Irving Park and west of Ashland.

From Monday till Thursday the first show begins at 5 pm and last show at 9:40 pm while for Saturday and Sunday first show starts at 11:30 am with last show starting at 9:40 pm. The current film being played from March 23 till March 27 are The Counterfeiters, Chop Shop and All About Eve. Upcoming feature films are Teeth and The transformers: The Movie on air for March 28 and March 29. On March 29 and 30 ‘Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?’ will be played. Upcoming Special Events are Sci-fi Spectacular on May 10 at noon, Mommie Dearest on May 11 at 2:30 pm and Troll 2 on May 23rd at midnight.

General admission fee charged is $9.25. A discounted price of $8.25 is offered on first show of the day i.e. at 5 pm while on Saturday and Sunday the show at 11:30 is offered at a discounted price of $7.25. Other discounted packages are offered as well such as five admissions for only $33.

Lincoln Park is situated in the Chicago city and it comprises an area of about 1200 acre. Lincoln Park is on the lake front of Lake Michigan. There are many field houses, and a number of fitness centers that are very popular in the city itself. Lincoln Park also has a golf course. It also includes numerous harbors that also have boating facilities, people are attracted by the artificial beaches at the lake. It has many landscape gardens and also has a big zoo. Lincoln Park also consists of a theater that hosts many outdoor performances.

Lincoln Park has a number of recreational areas it has many playgrounds for kids, and also has a facility for horse riding. The park is best known as Lincoln Park zoo. Two parts of the zoo are set aside for the children only. The first section is Pritzker’S family childrens zoo. The second section is the Farm-in-the-zoo. Children in the zoo can pet and feed the animals.

Lincoln Park is also known for its art. One walking through park can see much great sculptures. There is a statue of Abraham Lincoln in the park that is name as the standing Lincoln. There are many other statues too.
